The practice
M-Bee IT & Security is a one-person engineering practice. The name is a play on my initials, and the bee is not entirely arbitrary — most of the work is quiet, structural, and only noticed when it stops.
Background
I have worked in IT for over fifteen years. That time has been spent mostly in and around messaging and email architecture, Microsoft 365 and Azure, and the endpoint estate that hangs off both — with Windows, Linux and macOS treated as one environment rather than three.
The through-line is systems that other people depend on without thinking about them: mail that routes, identity that holds, devices that arrive configured. Work of that kind is judged on the absence of incidents, which makes documentation, monitoring and version control part of the job rather than an afterthought to it.
I hold Microsoft certifications as an Azure Solutions Architect Expert and Azure Virtual Desktop Specialty, and at Microsoft 365 administrator level. The specific exams are listed below rather than summarised into a badge — exam codes are checkable, and vaguer claims are not.

Where the demonstrations run
The mbeeitandsecurity.onmicrosoft.com tenant, the support platform, and this site are
a working environment used for application and security demonstrations,
presentations, and testing. Configurations get built, broken deliberately, and
rebuilt in it.
Keeping it maintained to the same standard as anything production is the point. A demonstration is only persuasive if the environment underneath it behaves like a real one — monitored, alerted on, described in code, and inventoried.
